Yes, unfortunately. He played 3 games in LF with DET. The most he has ever played is 3. Just 3.

So in his entire ML career, he has played 3 games in the outfield (all last year). As an infielder he has a history of being a bit above replacement level.

Interesting choice. Obviously the career .268/.330/.425 is kinda nice I guess.

Seems like we could do better but they might not be willing to spend for better.

True, but I think Peralta would be spending a bit much on second base when i would rather spend on pitching or a DH.

Yea, maybe insurance if Manny isn't ready to go early, or we play Jhonny at 2B. That seems more logical to me.

Sounds like the same thing the O's did to Nate last year. They wanted Nate to sign so they rumored that they were interested in Schlerholtz. And Nate signed in a few days. Now that DeJesus and David Murphy are off the market the O's need an alternative to Nate. I hope Nate signs soon.
